Ryoma Maeda of Virgin babylon records, as the leader, Haji metal of former Midori, and Shigeyuki Kimura of former Arakajime Kimerareta Koibito Tachi E, gathered around and formed the world’s first synthesizer garage punk band holding Keytar, wearing leather jackets, along with drums and explosive sounds.
They never used a bass nor a guitar in the album, but all the sounds are composed by using synthesizer and drums. Songs in the album could be described as camouflaged rock n roll, camouflaged rockabillly, camouflaged punk, and camouflaged city pop with cozy synthesizer sounds. At last, convulsant crazy drums and piano makes a camouflaged slow ballad.
Catchy melody and high speed explosive synthesizer developed the masterpiece of synthesizer garage punk____
They never used studio for recording, but they recorded in their houses or underground garage surrounded by unfaced concrete filled with garage punk spirit.
Remix songs are in the style of brand new method.
About this album, Ryoma Maeda says:
“This kid about third or fourth grade was really staring at our live so hard. When our live was over, I heard that kid was saying he’s favorite things are the universe and The Rolling Stones.
That moment, I can say with confidence that our band will be successful because we can rock those kids and make them crazy. ”
